How to delete a Facebook friend

As time moves on, we change, everyone else change and during this course of time, we might feel a need to cut off from certain people by deleting them from our Facebook friend list. Good, if this one suits you better than deleting your own Facebook account altogether.

Simple Steps to Delete a Facebook Friend

Step 1:-

Login to you Facebook account

Open your profile by clicking your name on the top menu.

Step 2:-

Open your friend list by clicking on “Friends” button

 

Step 3:-

Find the friend you want to delete from your profile. Click on the button titled “Friends” and then select option “Unfriend”.

 

Alternatively, you can visit the profile of the friend you want to delete and click the button Friends and then select option “Unfriend”.

Please note that deleting someone will not prevent them from viewing your profile, sending you friend request or sending you messages. To completely prevent them from communicating with you in any manner, consider “blocking” them.

To do so, visit the profile of that person and click on the button titled with 3 dots “…” and select “Block” option at the bottom.

On the “Confirm Block” pop up window that shows up, click “Confirm”.
