How to download Facebook videos?
While surfing Facebook we see a lot of video content and some of these videos are really good. Sometimes we have an urge to save them so that we could see them later. We can download the images very easily but downloading videos doesn’t seem so easy.
Well, after reading the article you will feel that it is as simple to download Facebook videos.
Downloading a video to your machine will let you watch it when you are offline and will save you the cost that you would spend on streaming the video again.
Step 1:-
Login to Facebook.
Find the video you wish to download and right click on it. From the options, click on “Copy Link Location”.
These images are captured on Mozilla Firefox browser.
Alternatively, you can click on the video and copy the link from the address bar.
Don’t fret if you don’t find “Copy Link Location” upon right clicking on some videos.
Another example when “Copy Link Location” is not available
Just note who has posted the video in this case. Go to the person’s profile profile. Click on “More”, followed by “Videos” from the drop down menu.
Click on “<person’s name> Videos”.
Find the video you wanted to download and right click on it. Now you will find “Copy Link Location”.
Once you have copied the link location, you have accomplished 50 percent of the task.
Step 2:-
Visit http://www.downvids.net/. This is an online video download tool. Paste the link in the URL box, choose the quality of video from “Select video format” drop down list and click “Download”. Click on the Highlighted one only. Clicking some where else will fill up your screen with advertisements.
Step 3:-
Right click on “Save this Video” and click “Save Link As…”. (or Save As, in some browsers).
Step 4:-
Choose the Download location and click on “Save”.
That’s all you have to do. The video file in MP4 format will begin downloading. There are other tools available which we would assess and might list here in the future.
One thing you need to keep in mind while downloading videos is that the video you wish to download should be present on Facebook. It shouldn’t be externally embedded (such as YouTube videos).
